Let me introduce you to my page. My name is Shanda Danielle, I’m a mom, CEO, podcast host, and event planner amongst a few things I do but this is not about me but about my son. Tanker, was born May 12, 2015 at 17 weeks. For the next 5 years I decided to spend one on one time with these women across the USA, in rural parts of Mexico, and around the world online just so that I knew exactly what this community was lacking.
Tankers Rock is here to provides services for all families who has suffered the loss of a child. We have an emphasis in miscarriages, stillbirth, and neonatal deaths and that is what this community is built around. All services provided at the chapter locations of Tanker’s Rock will be always be free to the community.
What makes Tanker’s Rock so different from the other groups is that we are the resource center for all the other organizations in our communities that are already supporting this issue. We want to empower your goals and mission. By combining all of our resources into one central all and website will give amazing opportunities for people to connect with others in their area going through the same loss.
Tankers Rock is a 501(c)3 Organization which can provide necessary forms for your tax purposes.
Our mission statement is to provide support, education, resources, and hope after child loss especially miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal death.
Part of our growing vision by Spring 2021 is to have both the virtual and in person community started and being built around the needs of the child loss community. When you feel alone, don’t feel like the world understands, or has just forgotten you that’s when you find us. Thousands of women suffer from the lost of a child everyday. 1 in 4 women will experience this in their lifetime and not only does it affect the mother but the father, grandparents, and other members in the community.
You can find more information about Tanker’s Rock and all that we do RIGHT by joining the Facebook page and start building those mom friendships or by following us on Instagram.
Currently we have the Tanker’s Rock website being worked on so it is unfortunately unavailable. Though, when it is up and running you can sign up for our monthly newsletter, get info about our podcast, make automatic monthly or one time donations, PLUS sign up for the exclusive child loss community app launching early 2021!
